1) The buyer agrees not to use this dog in any way that is prohibited by both state and federal law.

2) The buyer agrees not to use this dog for cross breeding with any other breed for any reason.

3) The buyer agrees to keep this dog in a fashion that is consistent with that of the policy published by the UKC. Meaning dog must be fed, watered, and given sufficient living conditions.

4) The buyer assumes all responsibilities of any damage caused by the dog once purchased. 

5) The buyer understands that any type of weight training performed before the dog is at least 18 months old will void any guarantee.

6) The buyer understands that any type of protection training will void any guarantee.

7) Buyer understands that deposits are commitment to hold a puppy and may be moved to another litter but are non-refundable.

8) The buyer has 72 hours from the time the puppy arrives to have the puppy examined by a veterinarian. If not satisfied puppy may returned for a replacement puppy of equal or greater value. (IN THE CASE THE PUPPY IS DEFECTIVE)

9) Seller is responsible for health of the puppy at time of purchase.

10) Seller is not responsible for any veterinarian bills accrued by the buyer. Puppy is checked by veterinarian and given a clean bill of health before shipped.

11) If at any time buyer feels that they no longer want the dog they must surrender that dog to Wateree Kennels or find a suitable home, in which the owners will care for the dog as specified in this contract. Under no circumstance may the dog be surrendered to any animal shelter.

12) Seller agrees the puppy to be free of congenital defects for one year. If puppy is diagnosed with congenital defect, it will be replaced. Also puppy is guaranteed to be free of crippling hip dysplasia for one year, however if using OFA, puppy may replaced after 2 year old (ONLY IF PRELIMINARY EVALUATION WAS PERFORMED PRIOR TO 1-YEAR OF AGE)

13) Seller not liable for damage or litigation caused by protection training.

14) If dog is breed during the term of which the guarantee is good for then the guarantee will be void.

15) ANY VIOLATION OF THIS CONTRACT GIVES THE BREEDER (WATEREE KENNELS) THE RIGHT TO RECLAIM THE DOG AT OWNERS EXPENSE.

This contract is to be signed by both the buyer and the seller in an attempt to assure that each puppy finds a suitable loving home. Also this contract outlines what is garuateed so that the buyer has some protection. Our goal here at Wateree Kennels is to assure that each puppy finds a great home and that each buyer is satisfied with the new family addition. The deposit to hold a puppy is $100. This will allow you to be put on a first come first serve waiting list. We will only take a handful of deposits for each breeding to assure that each person placing a deposit will have a puppy available for them. I reserve the right to have first pick of the male and/of female from each litter. The right to have the pick of the litter can be bought but will not be cheap.
