This is General Texas "Tex" who is now enjoying his new home and family Chad and Katie
in Texas.
Richard,
Sorry to take so long on a response. I've been on a houseboat for the past week on Dale Hollow
Lake in KY/TN. Tex went with me. He loved the lake. It's great to hear that you are keeping one of Tex's sisters.
It's nice to know that there is a possibility they might reunite sometime in the future. I'm really enjoying your website
and the updated pictures. You've done a great job on the material. Tex is now fully acclimated to his new home
and master (me). He is a bundle of energy and fun. He has a perfect temperament and is very very smart.
He already has his basic obedience commands (sit, down, stay, heel, etc.) down very well and has built very good focus
on me. He is also fully housebroken and has not had an accident in the house in over two weeks. He has had his
next round of vaccines and preventatives and also had a microchip implanted. My vet thinks he is one of the most beautiful
ABs he's ever seen. He just went back to the vet yesterday and he weighed 39 pds. The vet thinks he'll top the scales at over
100 pds. We are going to begin Schutzhund training at DFW Working Dogs Club at the beginning of August. I just sent in all
of his paperwork for the registries and also added him to the American Bulldog Association. I've got some great photos
of us on the houseboat that I'll send to you as soon as I get them downloaded. Anyways, great to hear from you and talk
with you soon.
Chad
